OSINT (Awareness) - CPD Workshop

A one day workshop (09:00- 17:00) focusing on the practical application of OSINT (Open Source Intelligence) techniques in investigations, core techniques, legal and ethical issues, social media investigations, a practical exercise and common mistakes and best practice followed by review and close.

Learners will gain an enhanced and / or refreshed understanding of up to date techniques and the practical applications and implications of this core aspect of private investigations. The day will include looking at OSINT in Investigations, core OSINT techniques, legal and ethical issues, followed by social media investigations after lunch. This is then followed by an OSINT practical exercise and, lastly a session looking at common mistakes and best practice with a review and close.
