Handling Difficult Conversations CPD Workshop

The Handling Difficult Conversations Workshop is a one‑day, practice‑based behavioural training that develops confidence and capability in managing challenging workplace conversations. Delegates work in triads across four realistic scenarios, rotating through the roles of challenger, defender, and observer. Through twelve coached conversation rounds, participants apply ASCENT’s core frameworks: the Triangle of Truth™, the Assertive Escalation Ladder™, and the CALM™ Framework, to build clarity, emotional steadiness, and constructive communication habits. The workshop blends short theoretical refreshers with intensive practice, behavioural coaching, and optional scenario twists that simulate real‑world unpredictability. Participants leave with strengthened communication discipline and repeatable tools for handling difficult conversations with professionalism and confidence.
