Suicide Awareness

Suicide Awareness informed by the British Standard for Suicide Prevention in the Workplace: BS 30480:2025 - Suicide and the Workplace: Intervention, Prevention and Support for People Affected by Suicide. This training isn't just academic theory: Its rooted in the best and most up-to-date guidance available, designed to help workplaces build safer, supportive cultures and respond with confidence when it matters most. This is national guidance that is available to organisations and intended to be widely adopted. It helps employers meet existing duties under health and safety law while going further. It shifts the conversation from reactive to prepared, from uncertainty to confidence. It is structured around three interconnected pillars that reflect the full lifecycle of risk and support. Prevention, Intervention and Post-Intervention.

The main prerequisite is that the person is in a place of work and adult age. Learning objectives are achieved through utilising the workbook. Naming their learning in the workbook. Sharing their learning after each section of the workbook. They are able to identify how the practical conversation helped them learn. They can name what they learnt from discussing the case study. Evaluation form is completed.
