Our Introduction to Early Years training course provides a foundation in child development, safeguarding, and learning principles. It prepares practitioners with the essential knowledge and skills to support young children’s growth and well-being. The courses are aimed for new starters in the Early Years profession UK Based. We do not have a minimum age or educational requirements however we do recommend that the courses are completed by over 14s due to some sensitive nature and those who are entering or have an interest in Early Years Education.

We do not have any formal entry requirements / restrictions but we do recommend the course for those in an early years profession and over the age of 15.

Cuckooing is when criminals take over the home of a vulnerable person, often through exploitation or coercion, to use it for illegal activity. In early years, this can create unsafe home environments that place young children at risk of harm, neglect, and instability. We do not have minimum age or educational requirements however we do recommend a career in Early Years and a age of 15+.

Sustained Shared Thinking is a process that up-skill practitioners in their communication with children, non verbal and verbal. It provides the tools for practitioners to identify key features and the effectiveness of using open ended questioning.

Safer Recruitment in Early Years is a comprehensive self-paced online course designed for nursery managers, preschool leaders, childminders, HR staff, and owners of early years settings across England. This course equips you with essential knowledge and practical skills to implement robust recruitment practices that safeguard children and meet regulatory requirements. The renewed Ofsted inspection framework introduced from November 2025 brought a significant change to the inspection notification process. One of the biggest differences is that there are now two separate telephone calls before the inspection, rather than a single notification call. The first is a brief notification call, followed later by a more detailed planning call of around 30 minutes. The planning call is designed to help the inspector understand the setting, discuss the curriculum and agree practical arrangements before arriving.
